BOSKO RESTAURANT IN BIELSKO-BIAŁA

I had an amazing pleasure to try festival menu in Bosco, a popular restaurant located in Bielsko-Biała, a city in southern Poland.

This restaurant is known for its authentic Italian cuisine, cosy atmosphere, and excellent service. The restaurant's menu features a variety of traditional Italian dishes, such as pizzas, pastas, and risottos, as well as meat and seafood dishes. All the ingredients used in the dishes are fresh and of the highest quality, and the chefs at Bosco are known for their attention to detail and passion for Italian cuisine. One of the most popular dishes at Bosco is the wood-fired pizza, which is made using a traditional recipe and cooked in a wood-burning oven. The pizza is crispy, flavourful, and topped with a variety of fresh ingredients, such as mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and basil.

In addition to the delicious food, Bosco is also known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated in a rustic Italian style, with wooden tables and chairs, brick walls, and soft lighting. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they make sure that every guest feels welcome and comfortable.Bosco is a great place to dine with family and friends, and it is also a popular spot for romantic dinners and special occasions. The restaurant has a wine list featuring a variety of Italian wines, as well as other international selections, and the desserts are also not to be missed, with options like tiramisu and panna cotta.

Overall, Restauracja Bosco is a must-visit for anyone in Bielsko-Biała who is looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a cosy and welcoming atmosphere.

The next Restaurant Week in Poland is scheduled for the autumn of 2023, and will be held in various cities across the country, including Warsaw, Kraków, and Gdańsk. It is a great opportunity to discover new restaurants, taste delicious food, and experience Polish culture.

Alfa Romeo STELVIO a queen of a tow truck?

Cars could be divided into: nice, ugly, practical, capacious, economical and completely unnecessary like electric ones.

POLISH VERSION

Alfa Romeo Stelvio, on the other hand, is the kind of vehicle that grabs your heart at first sight and sticks in your consciousness so deeply, that you won't rest until you hold the key to your own "queen of a tow truck".

STELVIO

It is the name of the town and the highest passable Passo Della Stelvio in the Italian Eastern Alps. Due to the numerous switchbacks, elevation gains of up to 1880 m and an average slope of 7%, this 20-kilometer section of the SS-38 road is very often used to test the capabilities of all kinds of vehicles to the extreme.

By naming its first ever SUV STELVIO, Alfa wanted to emphasize two undeniable features of this car, i.e. its BEAUTY AND CHARACTER. The Italians started making the first attempts at production in 2010, but finally Stelvio had its premiere at the Auto Show in Los Angeles in 2016. The location was not accidental, because this model was created with the thought of conquering the American market.

Undoubtedly, the appearance of Stelvio on the automotive market stirred uptrends and set a new, better direction for the already present models: Audi Q5, BMW X3 or Mercedes-Benz GLC.

However, the charming Italian is not only a nicely bent sheet metal in the ALFA RED colour, it is also a devilish power. The QUADRIFOGLIO version under the hood has a castrated Ferrari 154 engine, a modest V6 - 2.9l with a power of 510 HP. 3.8 seconds to hundreds, top speed 283 km / h. In addition, lightweight construction, bi-turbo, variable valve timing and direct fuel injection. All elements of this puzzle made the Stelvio the fastest mass-produced SUV on the market, outclassing the then leader, i.e. the ugly thing that saved the existence of the PORSCHE brand - the CAYENNE model in the TURBO S version.

Stelvio is not only a cloverleaf version, there are also cheaper options to choose from: super, executive and business, as well as three drive units to choose from: 2.0 MultiAir Turbo 230 or 280 hp or MultiJet 2.2 with a modest 210 hp.

INTERIOR

Due to the fact that the tested model comes from the times when the competition for stuffing as many tablets and touchpads as possible into a square centimetre of the cockpit was not yet in force - it is quiet, minimalistic and functional. Ultra-comfortable seats that make you jump out of the car like a deer, even after a long journey. The space in the back is equally comfortable, and the boot can fit up to 525 litres of prosecco.

Over the years, the copy presented in the photos has undergone a number of modifications that clearly prove that even something that is perfect can be improved.

LET'S GO!

Numerous tests on the German highway have shown that this is not such a baby, you can easily go up to 250 km/h with the feeling that in the case of the flashing sales representative lights in Fabia, we still have enough steam to lose this annoying view from the rearview mirror.

An additional flavour to the ride is added by the D.N.A. system hidden in the magic knob. By turning it up or down, we are able to adjust the car to our driving style depending on current preferences or road conditions. A DYNAMIC mode will take extra zlotys out of your pocket for excessively used fuel, ALL WEATHER will bring you safely home in the biggest snowstorm through icy surfaces.

The tested version, in addition to a number of gearbox and engine modifications to improve performance, for which many thanks to WORKS by Grzegorz Wiekiera. In addition, it is equipped with the "R like, rather, do not turn on" mode, and in fact RACE, which deprives this car of any muzzles. An option for forty-year-olds without brakes who don't mind spending money on new tires, pads and washing the upholstery on the passenger side.

Regardless of the selected auto mode, it drives with incredible lightness. It is not characterized by excessive understeer or oversteer. It perfectly enters the corners, even those straight from Stelvio, forgiving a lot to the inefficient driver. Regardless of whether we are rushing in a traffic jam or rubbing the nose with a sales representative in Fabia, driving pleasure is at a very high level.

COMMUNITY

Due to the fact that Alfa Romeo has not been able to boast of stunning sales results for many years, even good quality products, and perhaps not without significance is the fact that a visit to a randomly selected Polish dealer, and then the Italian manufacturer's ASO has something of a masochism .

Maybe that's why the group of owners of more expensive Fiats is very modest in Poland, but of what quality. All, or almost all Alfists exude an incredibly nice disposition. They greet each other on the road, accosted in the car park willingly and extensively share their impressions of driving the Alfa and their knowledge of current towing rates.

And if the topic of tow trucks has already been mentioned, it's from the latest ranking of the British "What Car?" it is clear that the Stelvio is in the top five least reliable cars in the large SUV category, leaving far behind the Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, BMW X3 or Land Rover Discovery otherwise known as a “disaster”.

That is why this joke with a beard has not been funny for a long time, but only wonders how much tow trucks actually cost, because he has never used them. In this thread, you can always turn to the owners of the German DAS AUTO in diesel, who are much more familiar with the subject than the owners of 147, 156 and 159 all together.

ANY DEFECTS?

Not to be too sweet, because this is not a sponsored article, but there are some disadvantages. The first of them and driving me personally crazy are the turn signals - who programmed it and what they mean, probably even the oldest resident of Piedimonte San Germano has no idea.

Two is a fuel usage.

Such a defect is not a defect, but unfortunately, in order for the Stelvio to drive at a noticeable level of "serotonin secretion", we have to take into account the loss of about 15 litres (overpaid petrol from Orlen) for every 100 kilometres. It is known that with such a large car it's hard to blame it, but for comparison, my previous SUV - BMW X6 with similar power and driving mode, did not take more than the equivalent of 10 litres from the wallet.

However, the new Highway Code works so effectively that you can safely eat up to a level of less than 8.5 litres. Option for bores and those who already have unpaid 20 penalty points.

SO NO RISK NO FUN

BUY STELVIO FOR YOURSELF

If you were wondering for a moment if it's worth it, it's worth it. Appearance, comfort, and quality in relation to the paid price - everything is alright here.

Currently, there is a facelift version, thanks to which the choice has increased, and the prices have fallen slightly.

A band of the BANDWATCH!

If something like love at first "site" really exists, it truly has happened to me. When I saw these band watches for the first time I fell in love at once. Absolutely attractive and innovative female watch that instead of metal or leather belt has a fabric one that looks like a band. You can choose from hundreds designs and change the band in only 5 seconds and bind as you like.

The Bandwatch is something more than just a simple watch. There three basic colours of a watch case are silver, black or rose gold. Thanks to its changeable band it never gets boring.
You can buy one or 139 different bands. All of them are available in the online-store: bandwatch.pl. No matter you like crazy prints or you prefer a classic style. For sure you will find  band that express you best. Personally I have ten different ones and I did not say the last word. The Bandwatch became my favourite watch ever and I have been using it to most of my insta pictures since May.

This brand was born in Poland in 2018. It was found by Tomasz Lenart who got an inspiration just after one of a business TV programme. According to the fact that he and his family have had a lot of experience in clothing industry, Tomasz decided to sew fancy belts to classic watches. That idea was so fresh and completely unavailable on a Polish or European market. Now, the bandwatch.pl is a patented design in Poland as well as in the EU. So no other company can produce the same product. Tomasz is very proud of his invention.

Who buys the bandwatch? Till today, only Polish customers are able to buy bandwatches. The brand uses the webpage and social media like: Facebook and Instagram to promote and sell its watches. That is why most of the clients are young, independent women who like to wear fancy fashion gadgets. The bandwatch gives them endless possibilities to create their own unique mode of expression.

A small family brand. At the very beginning, Tomasz and his wife were responsible for growth of the Bandwatch. Now they have two new employees, Gosia and Marlena who take care of customers, shipping orders and planning marketing strategies. Tomasz dreams of becoming an international company who delivers to every country in the world.

I wish him and his crew good luck.

ADA's the biggest ARGUMENT!

Statistically, more than one hundred handbags are bought by every single woman in her life. Big, medium, small, shoppers, totes, clutches, black, brown, or red - all of us know well how hard it is to find the most suitable and perfect bag of our lifetime.

Why?

It is simply because it does not exist at all. It is unlike to have the same one for work and evening, for smart and sports clothing, for the summer and the winter.

JUST IMPOSSIBLE!

We need at least five different bags for a season, to be a quite happy woman. We possess our whole life in one handbag and take it almost everywhere with us. What kind of bag we choose, shows what kind of person we are. For some it is just a thing to keep the stuff, but some women use them to show their personality or material status.

Is it possible that bag can be more expensive than a fancy car? Of course. Every fashion victim perfectly knows names like: Birkin, 2.55, Neverfull, J’adior, Dahlia, Marmant Metalasse or Nile. To be an Instagram queen you just need to spend from $5000 to $50000. That is the price to become a part of a better world. Some of you buy fakes. I am asking why? Using replicas to pretend someone else? That is very cheap.
If you have no money - be creative not imitative!

On the other hand, don’t you think that all those pictures on Instagram with Chanel black BOY and Gucci belt pretend to be quite boring???

Even having a lot of money customers have started to look at the market  differently. Trends like: being unique, eco-friendly, cruelty-free, vegan or zero waste are more and more popular across all nations. Consumers say clearly that they do not need so many things as fashion companies try to sell them. A horrible expensive bag or bag number 101 cannot make our life better and do not give us personality. We have to start think widely not only selfishly.
According to all new needs of modern type of female client wants, ARGUMENT enters  the game. A small company from the middle of Europe with polish origins. Ada as a CEO of that project has her own aim:

“to turn leather waste into fashionable bags for classy aware women”

The Argument uses for its production only leather that comes from big tanneries, upholstery plants and furniture factories where it was treated as an useless waste and just thrown out to refuse bin. Ada gives it a second life. She personally designs beautiful handbags using this specific source of material. At this moment the brand called ARGUMENT (in Polish means a hard proof) has five different models: Ellie, Molly (my favourite one), Cinderella, Sati and Tote Max Size. All of them are handmade with the greatest care and attention to any detail.

Made in Poland

The Argument is one and the only company in Poland that uses leather waste in its manufacture. The idea about that kind of company was born in Ada’s head in 2016. It was very difficult to start because buying leather that was left from the production of car seats or furniture was a mission impossible in Poland. Nobody knows what “circular economy” is.
„It took me some time to convince companies’ owners to sell leather scraps to other company” - says Ada. “A second problem appeared when I started to design a first bag. It was quite difficult to sew a bag in a high quality from all that waste. Every scrap has different size, shape and thickness.

After more than two years of hard work on overcoming all difficulties, the ARGUMENT was ready to sell its goods. She started last year in September.

Ada is really proud of her company and can talk about her mission all over the time. “I have been selling my bags for more than 9 months, and I am very satisfied. All my female clients perfectly understand the philosophy I bring. We are the women who want to look perfect, possess high quality accessories but also have many respect to the natural environment. According to the fact that my bags have limited production, every model gives them possibility to have an unique bag.

Day by day we sell more and more, and not only in Poland. We have recently started shipping  to all EU countries.

You may say that Ada`s bags are not free of cruelty that killing animals for leather brings as well as they are not vegan at all. But the source of material they are made of makes them far more ethical than the conventional ones.
For me those bags have only cons on their side: quality, design, functionality, and the price. All models cost about $100 or little above.
