RESTAURANT WEEK POLISH EDITION

Restaurant Week in Poland is a culinary event that takes place twice a year, in spring and autumn. During this event, some of the best restaurants in Poland offer a special menu at a discounted price. The goal of Restaurant Week is to promote Polish cuisine and culture, encourage people to try new restaurants, and support the local food industry.

Participating restaurants usually create a special three-course menu for Restaurant Week, consisting of an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. The menu is designed to showcase the best of Polish cuisine, using fresh and seasonal ingredients. The price for the set menu is fixed and affordable, making it accessible to a wide range of customers.

Restaurant Week has become increasingly popular in Poland in recent years, with more and more restaurants participating in the event. Some of the most well-known restaurants in Poland take part, including those awarded with Michelin stars. However, it is also an opportunity for smaller and less-known restaurants to showcase their culinary skills and attract new customers.

The event is not only popular among locals, but also attracts tourists from all over the world who come to experience Polish cuisine. The special menu created for Restaurant Week allows visitors to sample a variety of traditional Polish dishes, such as: pierogi, bigos, and żurek, as well as modern twists on classic recipes.

BOSKO RESTAURANT IN BIELSKO-BIAŁA

I had an amazing pleasure to try festival menu in Bosco, a popular restaurant located in Bielsko-Biała, a city in southern Poland.

This restaurant is known for its authentic Italian cuisine, cosy atmosphere, and excellent service. The restaurant's menu features a variety of traditional Italian dishes, such as pizzas, pastas, and risottos, as well as meat and seafood dishes. All the ingredients used in the dishes are fresh and of the highest quality, and the chefs at Bosco are known for their attention to detail and passion for Italian cuisine. One of the most popular dishes at Bosco is the wood-fired pizza, which is made using a traditional recipe and cooked in a wood-burning oven. The pizza is crispy, flavourful, and topped with a variety of fresh ingredients, such as mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and basil.

In addition to the delicious food, Bosco is also known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated in a rustic Italian style, with wooden tables and chairs, brick walls, and soft lighting. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they make sure that every guest feels welcome and comfortable.Bosco is a great place to dine with family and friends, and it is also a popular spot for romantic dinners and special occasions. The restaurant has a wine list featuring a variety of Italian wines, as well as other international selections, and the desserts are also not to be missed, with options like tiramisu and panna cotta.

Overall, Restauracja Bosco is a must-visit for anyone in Bielsko-Biała who is looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a cosy and welcoming atmosphere.

The next Restaurant Week in Poland is scheduled for the autumn of 2023, and will be held in various cities across the country, including Warsaw, Kraków, and Gdańsk. It is a great opportunity to discover new restaurants, taste delicious food, and experience Polish culture.
